For this area of dermatology your prescriber has tremendous options. Steroids are the most commonly used in various percentages and potencies of the active drug. With pediatric patients we have seen very good results from a cyancobalamin (vitamin B-12) cream combined with oil of evening primrose. If you want to avoid the use of steroids for your child, you will be amazed at the healing power of the above formulation. Again, introducing Probiotics, reducing dairy and sugar are just as important to helping with many skin conditions. A healthy Gastro Tract is very important to the overall health of the skin.
